Emma

Last Sunday Masterpiece on PBS started a new three part Emma. My friend called me on Sunday to tell me it was coming on so I sat down to watch it for a bit. I love the classics and I thought this could be okay. I was wrong this new Emma was Great! I love it, the lead character Emma is played by a charming girl. I was so enchanted by all of the wonderful characters in this film. I have seen Emma before with many different actors but I love how all of these actors fit together so well it was delightful. My Obsession with Food

It's official I have jumped on the dieting band wagon! I need to lose the baby weight form a year ago. I love food. I love to eat it all day and all night. Here is the goal... I have my ten year class reunion in August so I need to lose 40 lbs before I can go back and face everyone. The only reason I am putting this out here is because I need to feel accountable to someone. Now all of you out there in blogerville know. I will keep you updated on my progress and I will do all I can to get to my goal weight. Which is 150 (now all you math majors know how much I weight,he he) If you have any good tips let me know I am open to ideas!

Reality Show

Everyone now has a reality show. So I came up with an idea for my own. Lets follow around the wife's of medical residents for a year and see what they are up to. We can call the show Residency Widows. Any takers? I know a lot of you know what I am talking about but if not here is an example: Husband "I will be home today at 7pm" Wife "Sounds good see you then", Several hours and chocolate bars later Wife " What happened to 7pm?" Husband "Oh yea sorry its 10pm, Hospital" (Shrug). Everyone moves on until the next day which is a Saturday. Husband "I will be home at 1pm" Wife "I can't wait" Six Hours past arrival time one child's head injury and a infants fascination with a razor later. Wife "Where the Heck are you!" Husband "Still at the Hospital, I think am going to be late." Wife "AHHHHH!"
(These stories are based on real life experiences and are only a few of many!!)


P.S. The Husbands day turned out to be 100 times worse at the hospital then the wife's was at home, poor Husband. He is a great man.

Let the Games Begin!

I am in the process of revamping this blog. I have decided to make it more of an open journal or a my life in my perspective type of a thing. I am sick of always spouting sunshine and butterflies when in real life I have days with whirlwinds and rain. For the first time ever I am going to try and write what I feel instead of what I think people want to hear! If you know any thing about me you know this is going to be hard. I love to put on a show but now I want people to know that it is okay to be you. We are who we are and God made us all unique. It is time for me to stop comparing my life to others and living my own!
